I’ve had a lovely time visiting, painting and sketching away the past two months in my art studio. I have been working on a series for the Lennox Arts Collective $300 and under exhibition to be held on the 4th December – some more of the small format works (you can see more small format paintings here) as well as drawings and studies. Hopefully there will be a good turnout that evening and during the rest of December the work will be on display. I have also been working on some portrait sketches, large oil paintings of the village of Lennox Head, where I live and a delightful commission of a horse and rider. There is also the exhibition for the class groups on 13th December at Lennox Arts Collective and preparing a new timetable for workshops for the first term in 2016 – so watch this space….
It has been a thrill for me to see some of my paintings in their new homes – ‘Morning Light’ in
a doctor’s surgery in Bangalow NSW and ‘Moon Rising’ now decorates the smart interior of Maralyn and Lindy’s apartment in Erskineville, NSW.
