The art renewal after our Covid shutdown has been truly liberating for myself and for the other members at Lennox Arts Collective. Also, judging by the number of people popping in to our gallery to purchase our goods and asking to do face to face classes, it has also been an important renewal for our community of art lovers!

The renewal of face to face classes has been an absolute treat! I can safely allow for five participants in the classes and Narelle, who is one of the other talented artists in our collective is managing the front desk, so that we don’t have too many people in the shop at the same time. Sanitiser is there and people are being very compliant.
We are now open 10 – 3pm Tuesday to Sunday at 2/72 Ballina St, Lennox Head.
Renewal Exhibition at Lennox Arts Collective!
The first exhibition renewal for our collective is an invited exhibition – eight local artists have accepted the invitation to take part in ‘Hello again….’ This is a group exhibition to celebrate the resilience, creativity and talent of just a few of our favourite Northern Rivers Artists.

It is important that you book in advance for the classes as the numbers are limited. I am continuing to hold Zoom classes on Tuesdays 10 -11am and Wednesdays face to face in the LAC gallery 10 – 1pm.

11th July: Inspiration from Ethnic Art – Some of the stunning artworks are made by Indigenous people of all cultures or others who draw their inspiration from ethnic art styles. We will examine various artworks in this genre and use inspiration from this to create our own. 10 – 3pm $70 – bookings essential.

8th August: Using Pattern and Texture in your Art – Pattern and texture, including textural media. In this class we will play with products that create texture and also incorporate decorative pattern and design into your artwork. so do let me know if you are interested. 10 – 3pm $70 – bookings essential.
